I am seeking a change of current account away from Shabby Abbey - non existent customer service, call centres in India etc and everything they do they want to charge me for. However, my credit history is impaired owing to a completed and satisfied IVA which will affect my credit score. Anyone any ideas on current accounts. I was tempted by Lloyds but given that they were my largest IVA creditor originally I think they are certain to turn me down
Any ideas welcome

Well i have an account with natwest and i find them good, i can now call my local branch!!!! I have a solo card and when i use it to pay for stuff in store the money goes straight out of my account NOT two days later, i have no over draft and if i have no money in my account then my card is declined, great as i dont want the o/d fees etc.
I have freinds from canada who have just opened a natwest account over here, they are just here for a short while and natwest were quite helpful, my friends did have to put £100 in the account for two weeks tho.
Hth
VxxDebt free and plan on staying that way!!!!0
