When does chip pay interest?

In app nag screen stated 6th July

And, remember, it won't deposit all your pending interest, just that earned in June, so there will be a running balance.

I was just going to ask the same question as only had Chip for a month. Had got it into my head it was the 4th day like Zopa, so thank you everyone for clarifying.

So now you need to stay up until just after midnight so you can ask why it hasn't been deposited yet. 
(I can't remember what time of day it typically goes in)

Got an email notification at 03:52 of interest payment having been made last month. 

Not the same as the time the credit hit the account but still....

My phone "sleeps" overnight, but it's pretty easy to search your inbox for "Chip".
