I know it’s not science but a decent long shot, maybe?

I’ve just bought and am getting used to Hearing Aids from what I’m reading to get the best sound from your TV you need a TV adopter

Now the question is this are they the sort of item to come up in the Prime Day Sale.  Do I really need one?

i know the type I need / want Oticon TV Oticon ConnectLine TV 3.0 for Oticon Opn

Amazon are now selling at £125

Yes, as far as I know for most hearing aids you need some kind of streamer*, unless yours have bluetooth and you can pair them with the TV - which doesn't work if others will be watching it with you.

I would advise checking prices with a Google search, in case any audiological companies do them for the same price or cheaper.  Then if they do come up on Prime Day you'll at least know whether it is a good price or not.

*Edit: for best, clearest sound quality, I mean.  Depends on how well you hear the TV already with your aids alone.

Worth looking on the Connevans website for information and advice on the various options.

I have a moderate hearing loss and have worn aids for about 5 years. They do take a little time for you to become attuned to them.
Before spending money on any sort of streamer I recommend you give yourself two or three months to fully get used to the aids. You may find, as I do, that you can hear well without the need for any streamer.

As mentioned by Savvy_Sue Connevans is a good website for both information and products.

Including myself I know several people who wear hearing aids. None of us have any device for the TV. I didn't even know there was such a thing. If the aids are not helping you sufficiently then I would contact the audiology department

Were these aids  supplied by an audiologist or are the ones you can buy from adverts with no hearing tests?

If from an audiologist then have you mentioned  your problem to hem?
