I think para 8 is irrelevant so remove that.

No merit in challenging the capped (allowed) legal fees and if they've boasted online about cases they've won, that'll be cases won by default against people who didn't defend!

Now we don't know your dates exactly, but read this:

Even if you have to submit your defence sooner than the DLUHC's new draft Impact Assessment, please come back in August because I'm certain you want your voices heard by the Government, to drown out the PPCs, some of whom masqueraded as the public when replying to the DLUHC's earlier Public Consultations.

The final one this Summer is IMMINENT.

Ah thanks good catch, thought I'd deleted para 8 already.

Will definitely keep an eye out for any DLUHC consultation/feedback.

I've tried submitting the defence by email to the following email addresses:

    CCBCAQ@Justice.gov.uk
    ccbcaq@hmcts.gsi.gov.uk
    Ccbc@hmcts.gsi.gov.uk
    ccbc@justice.gov.uk
    ccbcdefendants@hmcts.gsi.gov.uk (not delivered, message blocked)

Have not received any notification of receipt (not in spam or anywhere else) - any thoughts on why this isn't working? @KeithP

Will either need to submit it online (which everyone seems to say not to do) or go and get it printed somewhere and get to the post office today to get it there on time - delayed before submitting because of the above posts/threads so now it is unfortunately last minute

The first one on your list is the correct address but perhaps with a lowercase 'j' - not sure whether that makes a difference or not.
From time to time we hear that sending from a gmail.com address doesn't work.
We also hear of no acknowledgment being received when the email is sent outside normal working hours.

You could always phone the CCBC - number on your Claim Form - and ask them whether they received it.

Send it to the top email only.

Try sending from a different email address if you have more than one in the family that you could use.

How bizarre, sent from a different email address instead of gmail - an old hotmail.co.uk one - and I got the auto response that it was received. Perhaps worth adding this note to the thread giving the instructions? As a lot of people use Gmail.

Can't think it would be anything else as capitalisation shouldn't matter and I sent it within working hours just after 10am.

I also ended up posting it as was out of time to rely on the email going through.

    Thanks both

Just to note here that BW Legal discontinued the claim against me 2 weeks before the court date. So to others considered pursuing a defence in court this is a very possible outcome. Still very annoyed as it took up my time to deal with it all, but the best outcome given that. Then only a couple of weeks later I receive a debt collector letter from dcb legal for an apparent parking ticket from Sep 2019! Definitely have learned my lessons parking on private land....

    Many thanks for the update!

    ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST!

The DCB one will also also be discontinued when you play the same game.
