Are soft/eligibility checks linked if made close together?

I have a default (my only one) dropping off my credit file on or around 7th July (I know it can take up to another 28 days but it usually doesn't) . I have done a few eligibility tests with credit card companies over the last week or so (a mix of likely accept and decline). I am wondering if, by next week my default is lifted and I re do the eligibility checks whether being relatively close together will mean they will simply revert to the last check data they did or do they pull a new soft check? I could do another now and see if the check shows up but I have in the past with some had a message to say that I have already exceeded the number of checks in a month blah blah so I don't really want to risk that. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

Soft searches aren't seen so fill your boots.
If you're doing an eligibility check with the same provider in short succession, they may not bother doing another search.0 -
In support of an answer to my own question.. I took the time to read Amex's T's and C's for their eligibility checker today and they state that if a second eligibility check is made in a 30 day (or a month, I can't remember exactly) period they will use the information they pulled previously and not run another soft check. I guess there's a chance others do the same
