Anyone on an EDF GoElectric 98 fix that is about to end?
If so, I would be interested to know what EDF have offered after your fix ends.
I can't see the old GoElectric 98 tariff listed in their 1st July rate card, but I wondered if they are offering a continuation of it to existing customers.
The closest seems to be Eco20:20
Our GoElectric 98 fix ends at the end of August, so just planning ahead and trying to work out how to minimise the impact ( .

Thanks @michaels
I spotted that one but hoped they may be offering a continuation of the GoElectric 98 for existing customers
Our electric AGA takes longer than 5 hours on off-peak to fully heat the storage core, so the GoElectric 98 worked really well for us.
If 98 is no longer available I will have to do the calculations to see if a shift back to Eco 7 makes sense. Or an EV type tariff with five hours of off peak at a lower rate than Eco 7 off peak with an acceptance that the last hour of AGA storage heating will be at peak rate.0 -
Finally got a reply from EDF. When my GoElectric 98 fix ends, it defaults to Eco20:20 if I do nothing. Based on my calculations so far, that will suit me fine unless any better EV/smart tariffs get rolled out from any supplier in the next 6 or 7 weeks.1

If you are in Eastern region then EDF economy 7 might also be a could shoutI think....0

I wish I was 😢 7 hours off peak at the EDF Eastern region rate would be ideal for our requirements ! But not at the Yorkshire region rate 🤬1
