I have had an email from iWeb saying they are rebranding and updating their website.
I hope they add 2FA, but don't mess it up. Or charge more!

The interface is a bit 1994 budget isn't it!
But hey it works, as you say whatever they do I hope they test it well!2 -
If it ain't broke, don't fix it... The iWeb portal is easy to use, easy to navigate, easy to discover, easy to surf, easy to trade. You can buy or sell £100k of stocks from a big selection for £5 a pop with ultra-high reliability in seconds. It's a fantastic website, backed by a big name (Lloyds Bank). They really don't need to change it.
New name + new website usually mean new pricing. I fear their pricing is about to soar
Hopefully, I'm wrong. 4 -
If they increase their prices they are looking to compete against HL, Fidelity etc. The costs are outdated, Trading 212 allows you to make free transactions. I'll be moving more onto there I guess.0

Just hope they haven't had it developed by the same team that did the Yorkshire Bank update recently.3

Let alone 2023, by 1999 standards it looks bad and the iWeb logo is the opposite of professional.Hopefully the pricing won't change but relative to the size of its customer base Halifax Share Dealing doesn't make that much money so I wouldn't be surprised if it did, at least adding some level of annual fee.

And it's arrived for the landing pages. Not on the account screens yet.

It might not make that much money but at least it's profitable which is more than can be said for some platforms.wmb194 said:Hopefully the pricing won't change but relative to the size of its customer base Halifax Share Dealing doesn't make that much money so I wouldn't be surprised if it did, at least adding some level of annual fee.
