No claims / No accident proof for named drivers
We have a multi car policy that covers three of my Children and there partners. My policy renews beginning of September. I feel it is time they would be better on their own policies and start building their own no claims.
Can we get any documents from our present Insurer that a named driver could use towards a discount / No claims bonus on their own policy

Who is your insurer? What do they say about NCD?
There aren't too many true multi-car policies, most are multi-policy discounts. With Aviva and Admiral for example the "main driver" for each vehicle has their own NCD (as they were able to bring their NCD when they joined)1 -

If it costs much more having their own policies, this will more than outweigh any future NCD.
Let's Be Careful Out There1 -
Do they all live at the same address as I though multi car policies needed everyone to live at the same address?
Just interested as discounted multi car because my daughter lives away but might be worth a look if they allow multiple addresses.1 -
A few insurers will give you a NCD based on your driving history as a named driver on someone else's policy - but usually only if you take out your own policy with the same insurer.Just by way of example: https://www.sainsburysbank.co.uk/car-insurance/named-driver"
Named drivers can’t usually build up a no claims discount, although they can accumulate their own if they’re insured as the main driver on their own car. Some insurance providers may give a named driver a discount – provided they take out their own policy at a later date."
Not all insurers will do this - and obviously, it may be that your current insurer works out to be more expensive than others for you children anyway, even if they do give a NCD.

Thank you for all the replies.
I am with Admiral. There are four cars covered under the policy. Two are driven by two different daughters as the main driver.
On both policy's for both cars I am shown as 'Administrator'. On one policy my daughter is the 'Policyholder'. This policy shows 1 years NCB. On the other it just shows Named drivers as well as me as an Administrator. This Policy 2 years NCB.0
