Evri delivery photo!

This is the second time in a couple of weeks that I have had a problem with Evri photo of delivered parcel.
The "photo" is a black spot on a Google street map. How is that showing me it was delivered? Incidentally the ebay tracking has not moved since picked up at parcel shop. Will I still be covered as ebay has not updated?
On a previous delivery the confirmation pic on Evri has shown blank.
Is anyone else having problems with both the non existant pics and ebay not updating?

If any of the tracking , either on eBay or the Evri site shows delivery then you will lose an INR.
Yours is the 2nd thread today about Evri so the advice on that thread will apply to you as well.

Thanks Soolin but crossed wires I think. I am the sender so I assume I would be covered for an INR claim.soolin said:If any of the tracking , either on eBay or the Evri site shows delivery then you will lose an INR.

Aha right, then advice remains the same, if the tracking in the Evri site shows delivered and buyer opens a case then add those details, and the delivery confirmation to the case and you will win the INR.moonpenny said:

Evri really is awful. I never use them!
If they actually deliver the parcel, you'll be lucky if its not thrown over the fence!0 -
I have used Evri for a long time and have only had a couple of problems with them but that is not to say there are no issues from the buyers end!

I've just had a similar bad experience as a seller with Packlink/Evri. The buyer raised an INR and I provided the tracking information. The buyer asked me to confirm the delivery photo was of the correct parcel, and on closer inspection I could see it showed a different package from the one I had used and although the delivery address wasn't legible the weight and serial no on the label were clearly incorrect. The buyer said the door/letterbox shown was not his. Ebay then closed the case in the buyer's favour on the basis that the tracking information provided was invalid.
I've opened a case with Packlink, and provided details including a signed declaration from the buyer that the item was not received, but so far they keep saying that the tracking shows the item was delivered. On the plus side, when I complained to Ebay they at least agreed to remove the defect from my seller as clearly it was not my fault the tracking was invalid.0
