Newcastle BS tracker opened then closed by NBS

Can't find much about this. I opened a NBS tracker on 28th June and received the email confirmation etc. I did not have an existing account with them. I sent 2 GBP to fund the account. Today I phoned NBS about identity docs and was told the tracker account is closed because I don't have an existing account with them. The tracker terms say nothing about needing an existing account. What's going on?!

I believe they won't fund the account without first opening it and they won't open it without proof of ID in your case.etwallace said:Can't find much about this. As per the T&C's they can withdraw the product at any time, which they did on Friday. I imagine because your account isn't open they have decided not to honour it and open it now!2 -
After a second call it appears that the account is pending and not closed until my I'd arrives. If the prev reply is deleted I might be able to delete the post because is was a misunderstanding!0
