Approved used dealerships

Hi all, thanks for the replies. Seems to be a lot of mixed reviews/feedback. I'm looking at a car from a multidealership called Mike Brewers. It doesn't seem to be like an independent dealership, and certainly not an 'approved used' but the reviews all seem excellent on both Google and Trustpilot. It seems to be a reputable dealer. The car and the specs that I am after doesn't seem to be available at any of the Merc garages and they seems to sell out really quickly.Has anyone used this dealer before and any experiences?0

Google Mike Brewer. He is a well known figure. If you want to wind him up ask him for t eh cost for labour on his tv show.0

Search Wheeler Dealers, it's his long running show about reviving cars and selling them on.
I seem to think Mike Brewer is tied up with a leasing firm Evogo.
Evogo then trade under the name Mike Brewer Motors and remarket their ex leases.
I think Mike is a director of Mike Brewer Motors but not Evogo.

Have your own inspection carried out if you are unsure.Reasons for rejection for approved used at a premium brand will be the same for you - poorly repaired accident damage, wrong tyres, missing service history, non branded parts fitted etc all quite easy to spot and too expensive to be worth sorting so it gets sold on.
A remapped engine will be first thing a brand will check for before any warranty work is carried out so get that checked out too.
With the right service record and age under three years you should get some manufacturer’s warranty - which may be extendable whilst in that term. If so that will be worth more than any third party warranty.0 -
Mike Brewers Motors are an independent motor trader, they as far as I know do not have any franchise dealers.0

I'm never buying another Volvo and I'm never buying anything else from that chain of dealers.Possibly the best was an approved used Honda.
