Problems at So Energy ?

Anyone else having a problem with So Energy ?  Their meter reading dialogue won't accept my Gas meter reading (Electricity reading - no problem).  Their phone line is permanently unavailable.  They seem unable to reply to emails.  And they have now overcharged me for June's gas usage.

They have just issued a fixed tariff (the first for months) and may well be inundated with users switching.  But no notice posted about them having temporary problems.

Yes i am having trouble with my elec meter reading. Only 1 showing so don't have last month reading. As it was a reading on the 30 for my fix i was a bit miffed , gas was ok so summited for that. I did go on the chat page at the weekend and left a message stating this and give them both readings. Also left a message on their contact page. Recieved email confirming this. This has happened before and they did take my readings for my bill. As my bill does not come out till the 4th i hope they will take my customer readings and not an estimate. They did before.and put my online account right.

Yes, mine was an estimate - over the real amount - so they owe me £15 for June.  Re your Electricity meter display - that's what my Gas one looked like.  I didn't know they had a chat page or a contact page - where do I find these ?  You will probably get an estimated Electricity bill for last month - IMO.

Yeah, been having trouble with So for a while.

They changed my billing date at the start of the year. Since then they take smart meter readings and direct debits every month but I haven't had a statement since January and the balance shown online just mounts up because they're not deducting any usage.

I contacted them a couple of months ago and was told the billing team would be in touch but heard nothing.

If you go on contact us under the couple of headings is a message form. On your account bottom right hand corner is a chat bubble you can talk (type)  to someone. They don't work weekends but you can still leave your message.

That's a pity.  I've been with them for 3 years now and I thought they were the best of the smaller suppliers.  But I guess matters always seem to catch up with the small ones.  I was with Bulb but left when it started to go wrong (e.g. office in the US etc).  Just signed up for another two years.  Where to afterwards ?

I'm starting to wonder that, my 2-year fixed deal ends in October.
