Recently got an M3 from amazon, does the same job, comes with rumble pack. You also need a micro SD card.

They are for playing roms/backups of games, homebrew applications, videos and mp3's on your Nintendo DS

There is the Supercard DS one too.

I've got one and got it from clickshop.

Are the R4 and M3 exactly the same but made by different people?

The R4 and M3 are exactly the same thing inside, there is just a switch in there that changes between each one and an R4 becomes an M3.

There is a video of some guy messing with a few of each cart changeing the switch and putting it in a DS and it fires up as an M3 or and R4 depending where the switch is. R4 tends to have more updates made quicker oppesed to M3.
