CCJ / DCB Legal Letter

I work for a hospital & pay monthly for the car park. During covid the car parks were over capacity & patients/ staff had to park where ever was possible. The Trust CEO at the time told us not to worry if you receive a parking ticket. This was over 3 years ago.
I have received a letter dated 23/06/2023 from DCB Legal stating County Court Judgment has been placed on me from 12/06/2023 & I have 1 month to pay or this will affect my credit rating for 6 years. I can see that it’s been added to my credit file.
I had maybe two letters sent previously a year after this but I’ve never been in communication with it due to previous advice to ignore.

For the best possible advice you would be better posting this in the https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/categories/parking-tickets-fines-parking section of the forum.1

The previous MSE advice was pretty poor and not as clear as it should have been. By all means ignore the threat letters but you should never ignore a letter from the court. A County Court Notice normally comes from Northampton, if I remember correctly from 30 years ago when I had one. To be honest in your position I would have followed it up with the hospital trust a long time ago. This is still what you need to do, but it might be prudent to make sure that it is disposed of well in advance of a month after judgement - even if it means you have to pay it. A CCJ will mess up your credit for the whole 6 years. It's not like a default where you have chance to make it look better with lots of onetime payments after. CCJ's sound a loud klaxon n your credit report that scares potential lenders/providers away.0

***The Trust CEO at the time told us not to worry if you receive a parking ticket.***But he did not say *Ignore it* - You should have at least reported it to the trust for them to handle. The CEO does not have the power to cancel the ticket.1

Now this has been moved to the Parking Board, just bumping for comment.
Because when moving this thread, MSE didn't bother to comment on it, it was placed on the third page of the parking board. Unlikely to get read there.2 -
Who is the claimant involved?1

Did you receive but ignore a court claim form from Northampton, around May?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
