Opening post office online saver

Can anyone tell me how long it is likely to take before I can use this account?
I have to send them information in the post to prove who I am and my bank account. 

For an online account that all seems a bit extra.

..as per several previous posts....Any Post office savings account is a potential disaster waiting to happen, be prepared to significantly lower your expectations.

Crap web site and none existent customer service...I would not touch them with a very long bargepole regardless of their interest rates....

Thanks for the response. I searched post office online savings and nothing came up.
I won’t bother with it then.

The forum search facility is not very good.
We see a lot of posts complaining about various savings providers. However the Post Office comes up more regularly than any other ......
