Chapter Almost 40

Options
Hello to anyone who's dropping in...

I'm almost 40, a single mum on a pretty low income, doing my very best to stay afloat.
Juggling trying to get by, get paid, create a fun life for my boy, create memories, have a social life & not start every week in my over draft,,, it's all good fun right?  :D
The COL crisis has recently made it more difficult to bring my debts down as quick as I would like, but doing what I can.

I'm starting this to keep myself accountable, making small (no matter how small) Payments a Day, work on boosting my income & sticking to my No Spend Day targets.

Slowly but surely, I've got this!

    So, July 1st...

Going into this month with a debt of £3196.
It went up in June rather than down frustratingly but that was due to me ordering some bits to my Next account & adding onto my Creation plan. July may be a tricky month as it's the summer holidays so there will be days out to be had, a UK holiday to fund (although I've done pretty well with my holiday savings target) & my child will
undoubtedly eat me out of house and home  :D but we'll see how it goes.

My goals for July are to stick to my targets as best as I can, get enough in my savings to have the best UK holiday & look for another 0% interest credit card to transfer my balance to as I'm coming to the end of the 0% interest period on mine.

There was no NSD today as I treated my boy to a new football shirt, managed to redeem a good amount from the rewards on his membership card though, winning!

Withdrew £5.68 from surveys which is a good start.

Had a lovely evening for my friends husbands surprise garden party this evening, and started my One Million Steps for Diabetes UK Challenge with a good 12K steps so a good day all round.

Good luck. That’s a nice list of challenges.
Do you have a budget and an soa to follow? You don’t need to post it, but it’s helpful (and sometimes surprising) to see exactly what is coming in and going out.

    Thank you.

I do but it needs a do-over so I need some life admin time to go over it all. I should've probably added that to my list of goals for the month  :)

PAD today £10 to CC and £1.75 to the holiday savings.

Did treat LO to a Nandos lunch out today but we hardly ever eat out, I did really well on earning extras last month and sometimes it's nice to have a treat  :)

Plus I did another nice 12.4K walk towards the One Million Steps Challenge  :)
