Hi All,
Is it possible to transfer cash on account from one Stocks & Shares ISA to another Stocks & Shares ISA, without closing it and still keeping the shares in it?
Or when you transfer do you have to close the original ISA S&S account?

The ISA rules allow for partial transfers if both providers support this (not all do).1

It also depends on your current year subscriptions. So if, for example, you have already subscribed, say £10k & bought £5k worth of shares, you can’t just transfer the remaining £5k cash. All current year subscriptions must be kept together.0

Thanks both.I'd forgot that a current years subscription has to be kept together, so thanks for reminding me.I think I'd be ok though as the ISA I want to transfer the cash to is where I've subscribed to this tax year and it's coming from an old ISA.0
