Universal credit and nil award

Hi,
Would someone on universal credit who had just received a singular nil award still be entitled to receive Scottish child payment as well as the cost of living award?
Received a larger wage payment in June due to backdated wages. A bit frustrated as I think this will now mean I won't get any more Scottish child payment or the cost of living payments. Reading the info online I can't make out if just having one nil award makes me completely ineligible. Would I also need to reapply for universal credit?
Thanks in advance.

The Scottish child disability payment and UC are two completely different benefits.Having a nil UC award will not affect the disability payment because it’s not means tested. For the £150 CoL payment if you received a payment of CDP (or later received a payment) for 1st April 2023 then you will be entitled to it.
You will not need to reapply for UC because your claim should remain open for 6 months after a nil award. If your claim ever closes then you can just log into your journal and make a rapid reclaim.0 -
Thanks for the reply. It's actually just Scottish child payment. Not a form of disability payment. But I guess looking at the internet info on it. It is also not means tested.
The CoL payment I'm concerned about is the 2nd of three payments for 2023/2024, which is £300.0 -
I don't think the qualifying dates for that payment have been announced yet.0

Ah i see, having just done a google search i see what you mean. Then you may not be entitled to that because of your award being reduced to zero.As for the 2nd CoL payment the qualifying dates haven't yet been announced and the payment isn't due until sometime in the Autumn so you will need to wait until they annouce the dates.0

As per post above the dates for the next CoL payment haven't been announced.
If it's based on the first CoL 2023 it will be about last week in July to last week in August.
If based on last second CoL 2022 it will be about last week in August to last week in September.
So having the large payment in June hopefully won't matter, but it's not certain my any means.
