Anyone else confused by aquamail?
I upgraded 8 years ago from premium to "Pro" on Android
This cost me about £6 for life
Now I understand that "premium" is more advanced than "Pro" and costs an extra £10 for 1st year then £29.99
I keep on getting a pop up asking me to upgrade
What's going on?

But "pro" used to be the top version - I upgraded FROM premium - now they are saying that "premium" is the top version

Did they say that you were always going to get the 'top version' for life? You are getting the product for which you paid. Would you have been happier if they called the new product "Oceanic" rather than "Premium"?
The point is that you can continue using what you have and it will be maintained. Not bad for £6, eight years later. You are doing fine. Don't make yourself feel dissatisfied by being greedy.

When they introduced this last year (putting previously included features behind a new  further subscription) there was a lot of fuss and a mass exodus.

I would advise you to seek an alternative.

I am also a user of the Pro Unlocked app, hopefully we won't lose any existing features

I am a pro user also but I have that decided that I wanted to look for an alternative. I have tried a few different ones out, but have decided the one that I like the most is fairemail. It takes a bit of getting used to and working out but I am preferring it to aqua mail. I have now paid the £5.99 and upgraded to the pro version of this one.

I tried aqua mail for a while, but didn't find it so useful for my use of multiple accounts. Now use the free version of Edison Mail and have no issues with it.

Just saw this, the point is that you now need to pay more for things that used to be included in your payment. This is the second time Aquamail have pulled this trick and people are rightly upset.
