getting a different credit card

Recently I have found that trying to purchase with my John Lewis card, It does not send the one time password to my mobile quickly enough to be workable.   A bank debit card I have sends it immediately.   I am looking for a new credit card with good bonuses. Any suggestions?   Also, I have an excellent credit rating, does getting another card alter this? Advice please.  Thanks.

    I don't know any with really good bonuses. MSE: Credit card rewards
    I have two CCs paying 0.5% cashback (Barclaycard, Aqua), both 'no longer available', but I switched to Chase debit card paying 1%.
    And with my main CCs I'm hardly ever asked to enter an OTP. If I ever was, I don't remember any problems.
    I have an excellent credit rating, does getting another card alter this?
    No, unless your current credit limit is huge and close to your annual income.

    an alternative to having one-time codes sent to your mobile is to have a purchase approved in the app

    I have a John Lewis card and terrible mobile  reception.  One time pass codes always arrived too late.  Now I use the app.  That works fine.
