DCB Legal offering out of court settlement - should I accept?

Hi All,

Firstly, thanks everyone who contributes to the forum - with your guidance i completed a defence statement and directions questionnaire which was submitted to the courts for a parking ticket issued in 2018 (parked is disabled bay). Although I had the the badge with me it was not displayed at the time.

Fast forward today, the fine is now at approx £400 however I received a call to settle out of court at £50. Do you think o should accept or do think DCB will close the case before it gets to a hearing?

Thanks All

Refuse to settle. Send an email now and I reckon they'll discontinue by 5pm today.

If not, get your WS in by the deadline (with our help) and they'll discontinue then.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
