I keep a very close eye on my accounts, but I'm more looking out for things that are greater than expected and these payments were the same as the previous 6 months. I didn't initially click that the discount had ended and they should have gone back up.

I got in the habbit of checking my account weekly a long time ago, Because my bank account got hacked and someone had been taking small amounts of money out over months, obviously someone knew that small amounts would not go noticed,I only noticed when a transaction for a oyster card showed up, I never owned one.scobie said:
Totally agree. It always amazes me that so many people seem blissfully aware of what payments they are making from their bank account, and this on MSE. Imagine what it must be like in the wider population.Mobtr said:Do you not check your bank account on a regular basis?
