As an update and for the record dcb eventually eventually dropped this case!

Went through the usual process - N180 requested and submitted followed by a letter from the court to confirm the case had been allocated to the small claims track, eventually followed by a letter to confirm that a court date had been set.

Received an email recently about a month before the actual court date to be told that the client had instructed dcb legal to discontinue court proceedings. They provided me with the claimants N279 notice of discontinuance form and thats it apparently.

Thankyou for all the help and advice. Its absolutely disgusting what all the companies involved in these claims are trying doing to people. If I can help in any further way please let me know.

Please do stick around and post when you can help people who are dealing with DCB claims.  Sometimes they just need reassurance that the discontinuance will come, and people like you are invaluable here to spread that message.

There will also be a Final DLUHC Public Consultation (expected soonish) to get the statutory Code across the line.

    Anyway:

Yay - yet another DCB Legal discontinuance.

WELL DONE FOR SEEING IT THROUGH.

    ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST!

I have added you to the 'disco' thread.
