This is my new prices for Economy 7 tariff with EDF from 1st July. I was hoping an equal reduction on both day and night prices. I only have electricity no gas, electric storage heaters. I use over 90% of my electricity over night thus the higher price. Any advice welcomed.

That looks pretty normal to me. And it's not a higher price, it's just not as low a price as you might wish (but that's true for everyone).
Advice? Look at other suppliers. That's the only way to get a different day/night balance.0 -
It's all part of their crafty plan. Do this in the summer when no one complains because they aren't using much off peak and then they are all set for winter. If they change the ratio back to what it was previously in the coming October I'll be happy to be proved wrong.0

Your region isn't the cheapest EDF rate but it seems reasonable enough and you may find it hard to find a cheaper supplier with a 90% off peak ratio.

That's probably worth it for the Eastern region gang but I'll take my chances for now on the standard variable in case they do decide to adjust the winter off peak ratio in my favour, but not holding my breath.dealyboy said:You guys may have missed the new EDF Essentials Exclusive fixed tariff ... https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/80141369/#Comment_801413690 -
... understood. You never know off-peak could go down to 7p for us eastenders, like last yearSwipe said:
