How do I report a third party seller on Amazon

Options
The listing says free delivery. At checkout they have added a £20 delivery charge for a tube of cream.
I have sent a message which they have ignored so I want to report them for inaccurate information. However on the messages the report seller button isn't active (probably because they haven`t replied and I can't find any report button anywhere.
As I've not placed an order I can't do it that way and the customer service bot is only coming up with non-applicable issues.
Suggestions anyone?
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

Chances are it isn't them adding the delivery charge, it's probably controlled by Amazon. How does the listing say free delivery? It shouldn't be in the title.

    Is the seller UK based?

Are there other sellers on the product?

There is a listing here which lists various ways to contact Amazon.

Do you have a link to the item? Where is it saying "free delivery"?

There was a spate a while back where there was free delivery for multiple items but a very high delivery on a single item. Whilst it could be deemed underhanded it ultimately was what the small print said and Amazon were at least complicit with them because it was allowing them to set there products up like that inc free delivery on 2+

The listing has now vanished with a message to say my item is no longer available from that seller. It said free delivery on the item page and
when I checked the small print for delivery from that seller, it did not show any charges at all.

Some sellers can set their own postage rate and some can't. It depends on the type of seller and the category. Sometimes the postage is a flat rate set by Amazon (as in books) so it's not necessarily a seller doing anything wrong. I'm not saying there wasn't anything dodgy going on in that case but it's not always as straightforward as it looks on Amazon.

There has been lots of reports about this on various sites, many of the bargain hunter groups earlier in the week were talking about a couple of Amazon sellers that were showing goods at £1 or £2 (not stupidly cheap but cheaper than others) and advertising free postage. Postage was then being added on to the final page where it seemed to be a random amount. People who had that click thing on Amazon where they could just buy, didn’t notice the postage until they got the receipt, it was only people who used the Amazon basket and then paid who noticed it.

Throughout all of this item still was headlining from that unique seller as ‘free postage’.

  • This cropped up sometime in the past, as above items were cheap but not overly so and then postage was added, there was quite a lot of items like this, I don't think it was an Amazon thing as the postage was exceptionally high.

Amazon themselves are not exempt from this, page and basket showed free shipping available for an item from their official warehouse outlet but couldn't checkout without pay £4.99 postage, perhaps only free postage for Prime members in that instance?

If I remember right there was a loophole where you could list via another country's Amazon and adjust the postage. Last I heard they were clamping down on it so it may be something different. If I'm buying on Amazon I've trained myself to spot them so I probably tune them out.
If you're a Prime customer you can filter to Prime only, so it would only show Amazon fulfilled or seller's with the Prime badge, so all postage would be included.

Warehouse deals whilst not exclusive to Prime customers tend to be promoted to them. I don't know how postage works but "Amazon Warehouse" is technically a different seller to Amazon, weird but true! You can leave feedback for Amazon watehouse but can't for Amazon. Or at least you could last time I bought from them.
