I am eligible. The government helpline confirmed it. They said that I’d be added to the list.
Still no payment (and this year my energy supplier was doubling the payment for those eligible!)
on 25th May 2023, Shell (my supplier) advised that they could do no more (i must have phoned them half a dozen times to chase it up!) and I had to write and post a letter (in 2023!!!) to the government department responsible. There’s no phone number or email address either. Absolutely nothing I can do about it.

Still heard nothing! I’m a full-time student, single parent! This money was very much needed!
I’m so angry that despite doing everything I needed to do in the timescales specified, there’s literally nothing else I can do. No clue if the letter has even arrived.

At this point the only potential routes seem to be complaining to your MP (works with DWP reasonably often, though the WHD involves BEIS, DWP and the supplier) and/or going to the media.
The qualifying date for next year's will soon come around, so it's alarming that there are people who still haven't had it sorted for this year, as they (including you) are at real risk of losing out next year as well.0 -

Thanks, following your advice, I have now written to my MP. Hopefully he'll get things moving, I just feel so powerless againgst these things and frustrated that I did everything I was supposed to and yet it still wasn't enough. I've spent many hours on hold to my energy complany and the helpline before them... I wonder how many millions the government have saved through this poor administration of WHD.
