Hi,
Has anyone else had an issue with Amazon declining their credit card?
I have contacted the issuer and there are no blocks or problems with my card and it has plenty of credit.
My card had been accepted for at least 8 years before this. I've deleted and re-entered the card details but am still having the same issue. Checked that my address details match and they do.
My card issuer said that no payment has been requested from Amazon, Amazon say that payment is declined by my bank...

Not a problem I've had. I do have occasional issues with my Barclaycard because Barclays insist on fashioning my one-digit house number with a leading zero, but altering the billing address normally fixes this.
Check character for character your address matches the one on your card statements maybe.Have you moved house?0 -
Everything has remained the same, I could order in May but not in June. Very strange

Has your card recently expired? If so you need to update it to the new expiration date on your Amazon account, otherwise I’ve no suggestions.0

Is it for subscribe and save stuff? That's been playing up for yonks.

Just this week I had to reauthorize an Amazon subscribe and save card that I swear has been used successfully before.
I got a message saying that the payment failed, I told it to try again with the same stored card, I had to tap to confirm the purchase in my banking app, and then it went through fine.
So, yeah, maybe it's a SCA (strong customer authentication) type thing at the root of it...0
