Accessing higher interest rates for charities
Charityquestion
Hello, I am the Trustee of a charity and we have now built up some cash reserves. We have a current account with Lloyds but they are unable to offer us any products for our excess cash so we can earn a competitive interest rate. We have investigated overnight sweeps, notice accounts etc. but the rates are extremely low or the products just aren't available to a charity. The "top" easy access accounts on MSE's website only seem to be available to individuals. Can anyone help us find an account which we can use as a charity and one where we can earn at least 4%? Thank you.

4% doesn't seem to be possible unless you limit access, but hope this helps https://savingschampion.co.uk/best-buys/charity/charity-easy-access-accounts https://moneyfactscompare.co.uk/business/charity-account/?quick-links-first=falseCharityquestion said:Hello, I am the Trustee of a charity and we have now built up some cash reserves.
