tested positive - going cancun in 3 days

Good afternoon.
Me and the wife are going cancun in 3 days time. She is feeling very unwell and have tested positive for covid (lateral flow test).
The trip is an all inclusive for 7 nights through TUI.
We do have travel insurance - https://www.coverforyou.com/content/policywording-cfu-idol-AXA-XI27.pdf
Can we cancel the trip given she is unwell? I can't see anything specific in the policy wording in regards to covid anymore. is this now a thing of the past?
What would we need from the GP? would it be a sick note/ or a letter?

Claims evidence
We will require (at your own expense) the following evidence where relevant:
» A medical certificate from the treating medical practitioner explaining why it was necessary for you to cancel or curtail the trip.
If your wife is the one thats unwell then you will need get her to speak to a doctor and for them to agree she isnt fit to travel and provide a letter/certificate to that effect.1 -
Hope your wife isn't too ill.
I was going to say, that some people consider testing is the risk in the first place, but if she isn't well enough to comfortably travel and there is the risk of you catching it from her then I can understand a reluctance to travel.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
