Faulty Argos Goods

I gave up in claiming a refund for my cooker due to Depression and the constant phoning up and chatting to different people not knowing why I am phoning. I was promised a replacement, then when the guarantee ran out they said I need to prove it was faulty by calling out an electrician to prove it. but why should I. The cooker already had to be fixed within 6 months of having it. The fan was broke and the back top ring was nor working. I did not complain straight away due to my father passing away the month I received the cooker. I tried again after a year and we were not on their system to claim money back as they said it may have broke from being used, and again said it is possible to still claim if I get proof. I did not have the money to call some one out, so I wrote a letter to the Boss of the company which turned out to be sainsburys. They said it has been a long time but they would consider a replacement if I send them a qualified engineers letter saying it was faulty. This is like 4 years ago and we still got the same cooker and have not been able to use the main oven. Talk about adding to my stress and depression. If anyone can help please do so as I dont see why they did not do anything at the time. All i want is my money back to buy a working cooker.

No point in anyone saying what you should've done, what you could've done. That's water under the bridge now and won't help your depression.
It looks like you've had that oven for about 6 years now? A year until the guarantee ran out then you tried again after a year then a further 4 years?
You have little prospect of getting much back now from Argos, certainly not enough to buy a new cooker. However fan ovens are fairly simple to fix. Ask family and friends for the name of a good, local repair guy. Ask him what is would cost to get your cooker shipshape again (your 6 year old oven must look like new).1
