My Diesel Claim Change of contract due to their mistake

Hello,
I placed a claim with "MyDieselClaim" and I have just received an e-mail from them telling me they made a mistake about their fees. Instead of it stating 35% when I signed they are now wanting to change it to 50%. If I do not respond within 14 days then they will make changes. If I do respond they might not be able to represent me. Would you please offer any advice. Thanks

Drop the claim.
Odds on you will not get anything. All these new claims are based on the hope the manufactures will simply rollover & not contest.Life in the slow lane1 -
https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/travel/diesel-emissions-group-legal-claims/ is the MSE article about this, including a comparison of the ambulance-chasers and their fees - MDC does refer to a maximum of 50%, but to what extent was the 35% a confirmed and fixed figure, as opposed to provisional?ndforrest88 said:I placed a claim with "MyDieselClaim" and I have just received an e-mail from them telling me they made a mistake about their fees. Seems the contract stated 35% but two years later it's now a "typo" and should be 50% that PG gets to keep.

Seems quite simple. If you want to proceed, do nothing. If you don't want them to represent you any more, contact them.ndforrest88 said:Hello,

The third option would involve taking them on legally. Would you want to take on a law firm that operates the way they do?0
