Glad I opened the first home ssver last December as that is going up to 5.45% which is a great rate for an EA saver account and one that allows you to pay in up to £1000 a month for 36 months.3

Yes.
No such restriction in the first issue, which is why I think they addressed the loophole/flaw in issue 2.1
