I need to download MRI and CAT scans images from the hospital IEP (Image Exchange Portal). I can log in for 10 days only.
I managed to download the huge folders/files with Winrarzip and excract them, but they are over a million KB. I'm sure there is another way to do it.
Once the size is reduced, I would like to save the images on my PC, on google Drive, and send them to someone somehow.
Anyone can help? Pls use clear terminology and instructions. Thanks.

A million kB is 1GB, a lot for images, but reasonable for high resolution video. What does windows claim the type and size are? (switch the view to details)
I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....
(except air quality and Medical Science)

Is it just a single .ZIP file you downloaded ?
You can just upload the .ZIP file to Google Drive and then give whoever you need to the link to that file (Right click in Google Drive to 'Share' it) - they can then download the .ZIP view the files inside themselves
Windows will show the contents of the file - clicking on one of the files in the .ZIP will open it up whether its a video or a photo
No point in decompressing the file and uploading separately (unless you don't want them to see all pictures), will just take longer to upload0 -

Winzip is a file extractor & compressor not t a tool for downloadingYou need to extract the files and see what you have, right click on the file and select Extract All.(or you can just double click the file and explorer will open the archive)Most likely they will be very high resolution images, (and possibly some video) you can convert them to lower resolution but then they won't be any use medically.MRI produces 3D scans, I've no idea what they would send. You might be best just saving and then forwarding the zip file to whichever professional is going to look at them, they will surely have the required tools to view it.

Easiest way is to upload them them to Google drive, Dropbox etc and share the file with who ever you want , no need to send anything1

With my MRI there was a fairly chunky player on the DVD they gave me which you if you ran it gave a nice screen and controls to move through the images etc. You could however dig into the folder structure and find all the image files and open them in any normal image viewer.
The images were fairly large but not stupidly so and if sharing you probably would be selective if its friends/family rather than another doctor for a second opinion.2 -
