I would imagine amazon don't want playstore sideloaded , I would assume they want you to use theirs hence why they broke it0 -

I would imagine amazon don't want playstore sideloaded , I would assume they want you to use theirs hence why they broke itI've not bothered, the only play store app I'd want is stellarium, and since my HD10 doesn't have any sensors it wouldn't work properly anyway. The fire tablet is designed as a way to market Amazon media, I bet they'd love to block VLC & tachiyomi and any access to non DRM files. The new Fire Max 11 is out, but the price is close to a decent tablet- android or IOS (£289 for 128GB), it needs to drop at least £50 in one of their sales I think.I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

My Fire 7 last updated FireOS to v5.7.0.0 in March 22 ... my side-loaded Play store (and installed apps from there) still work fine.
You need to ensure you get the correct version APK files for your specific Fire device, copy them across to the Fire, enable Install from unknown sources, and then install the APK files in the correct order. More info here:
