Lost names on Mobile Phone when transferring over

Hi

I recently bought a motog13 mobile phone as my Samsung galaxy packed it in. Thankfully I managed to transfer most of the stuff over but when I go into my recent phone calls I can see the number but I cannot see the name of the person even thought they are in my contacts. Can anyone please advise as to how I get the name of the person who phoned to show.

Also on my Samsung I had Samsung notes where I had stored quite a bit of information. I assums this app is exclusive to Samsung and there is no way I can transfer that info over to the Motorolo?

You can "share" Samsung Notes in a number of different formats (PDF, Word, others) and email them to yourself. 

Try installing Samsung Notes on your Moto, don't think it's restricted to Samsung devices. It might let you synchronise to your Samsung Cloud account where you might have your Notes already stored.
