Any experiences of Velux solar powered skylight windows?

We have a skylight in a pretty inaccessible location (above the corner of a staircase, about 15-20 feet up), and are thinking of replacing it with a solar powered remote operated Velux skylight window.
Has anyone had experience of these? Any views on reliability and likely cost of installation?

I have a couple of them, work well no reliability problems. Mine started out as standard velux manual windows and I added the solar powered kit to them.

Thanks. How long have you had the solar kit? I was curious to know what the life expectancy of the solar battery is.
