Hi, I am currently going through a divorce. The money pot is not huge. The main sticking point is my military pension. would anybody know the formula for calculating or indeed have any idea of the value of a pension with a CETV of £105,000 in real liquid money ? Please help

I think the CETV is good starting point of what the value is. What you negotiate from there is up to you/the court.0

Where did you get this CETV from? If it was from Armed Forces Pensions (and you had told them that you needed it for divorce purposes) then the accompanying information (Form E) will give the Court everything they need to know.
But if you have tried to DIY it (20 X annual pension?) then this won't work. You need to ask AFP for a CETV specifically for divorce purposes.0
