Currently got just over 25k locked up in VWRL. Bought in the era of low interest rates, obviously we're now in a new world. Thankfully I'm currently in the green but it's been fluctuating between 4-7% since January. Not really moving or compounding.

Too bad Chip doesn't do an instant access ISA.

Thoughts?

Nothing new about the current situation.  Its more like a return to old world.

2023 has been largely  wavy line but not going anywhere (one month up, next month back down again).   However, you don't look at investments on the basis of months but years.  An economic cycle is around 15 years.  That is a better measure.

The average long return on investments is higher than current interest rates.   So, unless your risk profile has changed or you need the money in the short term, then nothing has changed.     If you had gilts/bonds, then there is a case for for replacing some of those but not equities.
