LPA refund

Now on my own, I decided to follow Martin's advice and set up a Lasting Power of Attorney.
March 28th I filled in the form online, paid (which allows you to print it off) and took it with me when I visited my daughter 300 miles away.
Returning home I realised the dates of signatures were not in the specified order.
Tried 3 times to get through on the phone hanging up after very long waits. Decided to start again as refunds are triggered after 40 days if they do not recieve the paperwork.
3 emails later I finally got reply to the last one today -

'Please be advised if any lasting power of attorney (LPA) application is not submitted to the Office of the Public Guardian within 40 calendar days of an online payment then an automatic refund is actioned.

Once this refund has been actioned please allow up to 6 to 8 weeks for this to be credited back to your account.'

Wonder if I will get any interest!!

I filled one in wrong and never submitted it. If I remember correctly it was about 4 months before the refund appeared on my bank statement ( with no interest :) ).
