Chip have now gone back to the top of the highest interest EA accounts. Maybe all those impatient people that moved away will now be moving back.

us impatient people helping to alter the inflow/outflow that helps Chip to have a reason to keep up with competition.10

I think I've gone over the 100k of payments in now, so wondering if I'll be getting mine frozen for a source of funds check0

What is the thing in the account that you need to turn off to stop it deducting something?Sorry for being vague but have read before that something is auto-turned on that you need to manually change.0

Autosave used to be turned on by default, but as far as I know it is now turned off by default. There is a charge if you use autosave. The setting can be found in Profile>Savings Plangeorged123 said:What is the thing in the account that you need to turn off to stop it deducting something?Sorry for being vague but have read before that something is auto-turned on that you need to manually change.'Compound interest is the eighth wonder of the world. After seeing the Cynergy thread I'm very pleased they never managed to open my account thus pushing me towards Chip that does actually increase the rates on their account without new versions. Long may it continue!Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.1

funnily enough though, if you closed the new Cynergy account within a month you'd get the same or more interest than Chip for the same period, since very close gross interest ratejimjames said:After seeing the Cynergy thread I'm very pleased they never managed to open my account thus pushing me towards Chip that does actually increase the rates on their account without new versions. Equally, fair play to the people that are willing to maximise their savings. Some people say inpatient, however, I waited 2/3 weeks for Chip and decided to move to CovBS again. Chip eventually increased their rate, but at some point, you have to make a decision.
Now I'm waiting to hear what Cov's offer is, before I potentially go back to Chip.0 -
Same but Coventry said they will announce the new rate 'in the coming weeks' and they always announce new rates in advance of implementing them. I think that means 2-3 weeks to announce the new rates and then a further 1-3 weeks to implement them and then were almost at the next base jump. I doubt they will be worth waiting for, but considering it's limited access they should be good. I did joke to myself that the reason Chip didn't go up before is Simon and Alex were on holiday, but now they are back on top of the game again, maybe they were.1

Yes, I recently moved from Chip to Gatehouse, Coventry 4, Tandem - now moving back to Chip. Waiting for Coventry's announcement, and if they don't match Chip I will empty Coventry 4 too.Stargunner said:Chip have now gone back to the top of the highest interest EA accounts.
