in Credit cards
I recently added a debt to my card to cover a timeshare release option.
If I transfer the balance to a 0% balance transfer card, which will reduce my expenses, do I lose my Section 75 protection if all goes wrong, or is the new credit card provider obliged to give me that same Section 75 protection I would have had if the debt had been placed with them originally.

No, you don't lose protection. And it's the old provider, not new. What matters, is using credit to pay. You can pay the balance off straight away. You don't need to owe anything to keep the protection. We are born naked, wet and hungry...Then things get worse.
.withdrawal, NOT withdrawel ..bear with me, NOT bare with me
.definitely, NOT definately ......separate, NOT seperate
should have, NOT should of .....guaranteed, NOT guarenteed0 -
Thanks, so if I can transfer the debt but then subsequently have to make a Section 75 claim who is that made to? From your answer, I assume it's the original credit card company?0
