I have been using my iMac for quite a while without any problems. When I went onto a website I use quite often whilst I was able to log in when I specifically went to click on an action that failed to load and the message I got was. "Application error - a client-side exception has occurred" - I know very little about computers so if some kindly person could help me get out of this error it would be very much appreciated - thanks in advance

That means that there's an error in the code the website is trying to run (normally javascript) in your browser.
It might be that they have updated their site so clearing your cache may work.
If not, please let us know which browser you are using, what the website is and what you're clicking on.0 -
You could also email the webmaster of the site as if its a fault on their end they might not know about it.
Is it just this website you're having issues with?
