Summerhouse render - what to do?

Give it several coats of gardz etc personally I’d wait until these weather temps drop down to about 20A thankyou is payment enough .0

I'd considered Gardz too as the can I have of that hasn't even been opened! However, I think Gardz is indoor only, and I think it seals so it cannot breathe but I think Peel Stop allows the walls to breath too, which I think, is more appropriate, we shall see I guess

If you are slapping a modern (plastic) paint on the wall, breathability of any primer/stabilizer is a moot point.ChilliBob said:I'd considered Gardz too as the can I have of that hasn't even been opened! Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

I've only ever used Sandex smooth exterior paint for render. It's breathable, easy to apply and guaranteed for 15 years. Two coats and the job is done.0

The manufacturer claims it is "breathable", but provides no data. So I would take it with a pinch of salt.subjecttocontract said:I've only ever used Sandex smooth exterior paint for render. It's breathable, easy to apply and guaranteed for 15 years. Two coats and the job is done.

Little Green does provide a data sheet, and SD values, which were a new thing to me about an hour ago! - Seems their SD value for their paint does indeed make it breathable. Anyhow, simples for me, I have both Peel Stop and Gardz, one can be used outside one cannot, I'm using it outside, job done!0
