I'd considered Gardz too as the can I have of that hasn't even been opened! However, I think Gardz is indoor only, and I think it seals so it cannot breathe but I think Peel Stop allows the walls to breath too, which I think, is more appropriate, we shall see I guess :o

If you are slapping a modern (plastic) paint on the wall, breathability of any primer/stabilizer is a moot point.

Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.
  • I've only ever used Sandex smooth exterior paint for render. It's breathable, easy to apply and guaranteed for 15 years. Two coats and the job is done.

The manufacturer claims it is "breathable", but provides no data. So I would take it with a pinch of salt.

Little Green does provide a data sheet, and SD values, which were a new thing to me about an hour ago! - Seems their SD value for their paint does indeed make it breathable. Anyhow, simples for me, I have both Peel Stop and Gardz, one can be used outside one cannot, I'm using it outside, job done!
