UK Gift Card Terms and Conditions

These Gift Card Terms and Conditions for UK Users apply to you if your country of residence or establishment is within the United Kingdom. If your country of residence or establishment is outside of the United Kingdom, find the gift card terms that apply to you.

These Gift Card Terms and Conditions (“Gift Card Terms”) govern your use of Airbnb Gift Cards ("Gift Cards") on the Airbnb Platform. Your use of Gift Cards and the services available via the Airbnb Platform shall be subject to Airbnb’s Terms of Service (“Terms”); if you see an undefined term in these Gift Card Terms, it has the same definition as in the Terms.

Claiming and Redemption.

You must have an Airbnb account in order to claim and redeem a Gift Card; you can claim a Gift Card by visiting airbnb.co.uk/gift. Upon claiming, the entire Gift Card value will be shown on your Airbnb account as your Gift Card balance. Gift Card balances may only be redeemed toward the purchase of eligible goods and services provided via Airbnb Ireland UC and its affiliates via the Airbnb Platform. Any booking made with a Gift Card will be deducted from your Gift Card balance, and any unused Gift Card balances will remain on your Airbnb account until used. If a purchase exceeds your existing Gift Card balance, the remaining amount due must be paid with another Payment Method. You can view your Gift Card balance by signing in to your Airbnb account.

No fees of any kind apply to Gift Cards, and Gift Cards and Gift Card balances do not expire. These Gift Card terms remain applicable until your entire Gift Card balance has been spent.

Limitations.

In the UK, Gift Cards can only be purchased by or gifted to individuals in the UK.

Gift Cards may not be applied towards charges for changes to existing reservations or be used to purchase other Gift Cards. Gift Cards cannot be reloaded, resold, transferred for value or redeemed for cash, except to the extent required by law. Once a Gift Card is claimed to an Airbnb account, its value cannot be transferred to another person or Airbnb account; a Gift Card balance on an Airbnb account may not be cashed out or transferred to another Airbnb account.

Risk of Loss.

You should treat Gift Cards like cash. Once we electronically transmit a digital Gift Card to the purchaser or designated recipient or deliver a physical Gift Card to the purchaser or designated recipient, whichever is applicable, the risk of loss and title for Gift Cards pass to the purchaser or designated recipient. We are not responsible if any Gift Card is lost, stolen, destroyed, or used without your permission.

Fraud.

Airbnb reserves the right to any remedy, including refusal to issue or honour a Gift Card, in the event of suspected fraud. We will have the right to close a Member’s account and charge alternative Payment Methods if a fraudulently obtained Gift Card is redeemed and/or used to make purchases on the Airbnb Platform.

Limitation of Liability.

In the event a Gift Card is non-functional, your sole remedy, and our sole liability, will be the replacement of such Gift Card.

Termination; Waiver

Your rights under a Gift Card will terminate if you materially fail to comply with these Gift Card Terms or if your Airbnb account is terminated or is suspended. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Gift Card, and we may revoke your access to any Gift Card balance. Our failure to insist upon or enforce your strict compliance with these Gift Card Terms will not constitute a waiver of any of our rights.

Disputes.

Any dispute or claim relating in any way to Gift Cards will be resolved in accordance with the Governing Law and Dispute Resolution section of the Terms.

These Gift Card Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with UK law, and your purchase, receipt, and/or redemption of a Gift Card is subject to UK law unless otherwise specified in the Applicable Law and Jurisdiction section of the Terms. Airbnb may modify these Gift Card Terms at any time. When we make material changes to these Gift Card Terms, we will post the revised Gift Card Terms on the Airbnb Platform and update the “Last Updated” date at the top of these Gift Card Terms. We will also provide you with notice of any material changes by email at least 30 days before the date they become effective, and will inform you about your right to terminate your Terms of Service agreement with Airbnb. Unless you terminate your agreement with Airbnb before the date the revised Gift Card Terms become effective, your continued access to or use of the Airbnb Platform will constitute acceptance of the revised Gift Card Terms.

Sunglass Hut E-Gift Cards can be used at sunglasshut.com and all participating Sunglass Hut locations in the United Kingdom. Additional value may not be added to e-gift cards after initial purchase. The card is not redeemable for cash. E-gift cards expire after 12 months. Reproduction, Internet Distribution or resale is strictly prohibited. Purchase or use of the Sunglass Hut E-Gift Card constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions. The electronic gift card is in GDP when purchased on http://www.sunglasshut.com/uk, Sunglass Hut eGift Card processing and delivery may take up to one hour due to orders being subject to credit verification. If there are any issues with the order, it will be held by credit and could take longer.

All those that complete the form will be entered into a ballot, from which the winner will be chosen at random.

 

General competition terms and conditions

The competition closes at midnight on 19th July 2023 and the winner will be contacted on 20th July 2023. No cash alternative for the prize package will be given.

One winner will be chosen.

The Turquoise Vitality Bracelet Stack is made to the ANNIE HAAK DESIGNS standard size of 17cm inner circumference.

One entry per person and you must be over the age of 18 to enter this competition and to claim the prize.

The winner will be chosen at random and notified by email or mobile from a member of the ANNIE HAAK DESIGNS team.

The prize will be posted by a courier service once the winner has acknowledged our contact.

Failure to reply within 48 hours will mean regrettably another winner will be chosen.

Failure to redeem the prize within these dates will result in the prize becoming invalid.
