Retro-tastic doesn’t quite cover it! Chilfest is one of the most beloved local festivals in Tring, and an easy slide over the Bucks border and this year line up on Sat 8 July is arguably its best ever, with Eighties’ new wave band OMD topping the bill with their immense back catalogue of synth hits. They’re supported by Thompson Twins’ Tom Bailey, Leee John of Imagination (I saw him in concert in the Eighties, he’s really good!), the mod squad From The Jam, ska and reggae band The Dualers, Dodgy of Nineties Brit Pop fame, The South, Blancmange and Big Country.
The backdrop is the beautiful Chilterns, at the Tring Rugby Pitch, and there’s a free shuttle service from the station to the event.
