How these funds work? Under what

Hi 

What category is these types funds under? Are they much different?

Not sure how explain it but look at Baillie Gifford sustainable multi asset 

it top 10 are other investors 

If I invest into would I be investing into say black total returns or am I investing into funds they hold to?

    Baillie Gifford SUSTAINABLE MULTI ASSET - see the bold below has the above fund in this - in this scenario how is money or fund working ?  Also is there particular category this type fund fall under

    This is a multi-asset fund, and it is not uncommon for such a fund to be a fund of funds. They work just like any other fund, but rather than invest in market securities directly, they invest in other funds. Another example of such a fund is Vanguard LifeStrategy.

    Like many multi-asset funds, it is a fund of funds.  In this case, a fettered fund of funds.

    You hold units in the multi-asset fund.   The fund holds units in the underlying funds.
