Pension Credit reclaim by DWP

My mum died Jan 2023. She owned her own home had very few savings and received pension credit until she moved in 2018 to sheltered rented accommodation. She rented out her house foe 1 year and lost her pension credit. Then her disabled grand daughter (Higher rate PIP) moved in and lived there rent free. The DWP reinstated her pension credit. Probate has just been issued and we plan to sell the house to distribute assets. The DWP are now asking for breakdown of her assets. I am worried that mum's pension credit may have been paid in error and could be reclaimed. Can anyone tell me if this is the case?

I think is probably more likely to get an informed answer on the Benefits board, so I've asked for it to be moved.Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!0
