Has anyone else been getting bills from Octopus energy that show somehow you still owe Avro money?

Is it possible that you do owe Avro money? Have you received a Final Bill from Avro?

Yeah mine says I owe £52 to avro but they don't seem bothered about taking it, I've plenty of credit if they wanted to.

Didn't the debit balance with Avro move over to Octopus when they (eventually) completed the transfer of all accounts?

What does your Octopus bill actually say? Could it just be the starting balance?

Yes, the credit/debit balance would have been taken over by the SoLR; however, the failed supplier would normally have provided a Final/Closing statement as proof that the credit/debit balance is correct.

According the the closing reading on my Avro account I used the reading from the 21/9/21 and Octopus billed me on the same reading. If anything I owe Avro 20 kWh at 14.91p,  £2.98p, as they billed the SC, 16.8p , up to the end of the 25th of September. If they send me a bill saying I used more then I will dispute it as my average usage was between 3.5 and 4.2 kWh per day, 17.5 kWh and 21 kWh. If they try and charge for more than 21 kWh then the SWHTF, that's assuming they send a bill at all.

when Octopus took over my bill stated I owed Avro a certain ammount, (which I don’t actually think I did as I was in credit when they went bust) I can’t remember exactly how much, but every few months it comes down a little (but not every month) I am loads of £ in credit with octopus, just can’t understand why I keep finding an ammount still to go to Avro at the bottom of every bill.
