    I had that yesterday & mailed them.
    They put 5 nectar points on our account ( usually only get 1 or 2 points on the spinning wheel), but they said to log out & log in again, and to do that on a regular basis (our account is usually just left logged in).
    The above worked for us, give it a try if you haven't already.

    This might help some people - I kept getting the same thing, and searched their site for answers. In the Help & FAQs section I found this:

    "You have until midnight, four days from the date of publication to enter each Unique Number.  E.g. You must enter a Unique Number from Saturday’s Daily Mail by 11.59 pm the following Wednesday."

    ...and that was the reason for my Unique Number not being recognised, as I was entering it too late  (I do realise this may not be the reason for everyone, but it may help some).
