My son sent me a link to find out who had blocked me, it came up during a conversation so looked like it came from him. It was a virus that had sent the same message to all his friends. Luckily (sensibly) I asked him if he had sent a link. He also sent me one that said something like "can I add this photo to my album?". Another virus... even if something seems like it might have come from the sender (loads of people have websites/photoalbums) always check it!Torgwen..........

I also block people on my pc. Theres no malace behind it but not only is msn a link to the outside world. Its also a link to my daughter who lives 150 miles away and also a link to my boys pc in another room. I very often send messages to my sons such as 'your tea is ready' or 'I am turning the pc off/rebooting in a minute' but I cant get into a full blown conversation at the minute. A few years ago I had an online contact who would disturb me even when I set my status to 'away', 'busy' etc so I just started to use the block function. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. I have a long list of contacts on my msn, and heaven help me if I should have them all unblocked and me showing online. I only show offline when I really cannot chat to anyone, otherwise I have all on block, except one or two, and tend to rotate the names depending on who I haven't chatted with for a while.
There's no way I'd keep more than two or at most three unblocked as once I was on three converstations at the same time, and it took all the fun out of it.
Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.0 -

I've been having those a lot, and they always come up when the contact is offline.
I never click links in MSN unless I know what it is. I used to get the "OMG, is that you?" virus a lot. Recently, I've been getting a lot more virus links through MSN too.
I just ignore them and block the contact until they're online again.lol.
I think that these websites with "See who's blocked you" on them are malware and hacker infected.
